BRUIT.

Bruit is my exploration through travels alone, with nothing but time and film sprawling through rainy Western European cities. Sleeping in cheap beds and drinking plastic wine day in and day out, looking for the image of myself everywhere I went. Carrying always one large camera for swans, and architecture,…, and one small, one that I could swap rolls quickly under the table to be ready for the next advantage. Combing these cities streets like my own neighborhoods allowed me to not feel an intruder or a thief but someone interested in making a comparison later to myself and the image taken. Combing the bars and cafés allowed me to acclimate in my comfortability and language, devices rarely used at night. Bruit is French for “Noise”, I found that the word in both languages offers the romance suited for this series.
